Yeah you dont keep shrimp with bettas...even in a dense planted set up there will be casualties. Betta hunt bugs in the wild, a shrimp is basically a water bug.

People who don't understand bettas shouldn't have them It's wrong to ban fish just because of what they are like dogs we blame the animals instead of the owners if you put a dead shrimp in it's automatically going to think it's food I think they are amazing as they do have their own personalities and are extremely smart

How many weeks does it take for them to heal from fin rot? I had a perfect set of orange and gold guppies that developed fin rot and they perished one by one I finally got some PraziPro and cleaned out the filter and a water change,. Slowly coming back.
